Al-Asr • EN-TAFSIR-AL-TUSTARI
﴿ بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْعَصْرِ ﴾
“CONSIDER the flight of time!”
By Time! (wa�l-ʿaṣr) That is: �By the Lord of time (Rabb al-dahr).� It has also been said [that He meant] �By the afternoon ⸢prayer⸣.�
