Al-Hijr • EN-TAFSIR-IBN-ABBAS
﴿ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ ﴾
“And thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at the time of sunrise,”
(Then the (Awful) Cry) of chastisement (overtook them at the sunrise) when the sun was rising.
